NOTICE:
- Delivery
is available, call us to arrange delivery or pick-up at a reasonable
cost.
- Customer
is responsible for Insurance coverage on all Rental Equipment.
- CEI
bears the cost of repairs due to normal wear and tear. The lessee
bears all other cost for damage accrued while in their possession.
(see paragraph 28 below)
- All
rental rates are based on a 4 hour minimum charge, 8 hour work
day of a 24 hour day, 48 hours of a 7 day week or 160 hours per
month of a 28 day period.
- A
deposit is not normally required with a valid Tennessee driver's
license.
- Payment
terms: Payment is due in advance for all rentals. We accept all
major credit cards, local checks, and offer in house charge accounts
with approved credit applications.

Damage Wavier
Christopher Equipment Inc. is pleased to offer a damage wavier
for rental equipment. The charge is 10% of the rental rate.
Paragraph 28 from the back of the contract is reprinted below for
your convenience. Please note that THE DAMAGE WAIVER IS NOT
INSURANCE.

If you pay the damage waiver charge (DWC) as
specified, subject to the limitations and exclusions below, Lessor
agrees to modify the terms of this contract and relieve you of
liability for accidental damage to the rented item(s) on this
contract, and for loss due to fire, collision, windstorm, upset
and riot. We exclude from this waiver, however, any loss or damage
due to theft, burglary, misuse or abuse, theft by conversion,
intentional damage, mysterious disappearance or other loss due to
your failure to care for the rented item(s) as a prudent man would
his own property, such as proper lubrication. In addition, if the
rented item(s) rented is a truck, you are not relieved of
liability of accidental damage to the truck container (box) caused
by striking a stationary object. If any such loss tends to
indicate a crime may have been committed, a further condition of
this waiver is that you must file a report to the proper law
enforcement authorities and furnish us with a copy. In addition,
if you have insurance for the loss or damage, you shall exercise,
and shall empower us to exercise, all your rights to obtain
recovery under insurance, shall cooperate with Lessor to obtain
recovery and all insurance proceeds shall be given or assigned to
Lessor.
